Filament-Winding is a molding process that the machine regularly winds series of filament. or belt which is attached with glue to the surface of the mandrel. The quantity of glue that attach to the filament in the process of filament-winding is an important factor, especially to the high-quality manufactures. It directly affects the quality of filament-winding product, so the control process of quality of glue is very important. MCRG (Microcomputer Controlled Filament Winding Ratio of Glue System) is the automatic control system which carries out adjustment of the glue in FW(filament winding) process according to the given value.1 .The paper checks the feasibility of glue ratio system and build 3-dimensional model with Pro/E, using the special seamless interface between Pro/E and ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems), boot the model into ADMAS for dynamic simulation and analyses its mechanical property. The results prove that the displacement of this system perform linear character, it's in favor of control.2.The paper suggests using capacitance sensor to achieve on-line testing of glue ratio of fiber, check the feasibility of this method by using electrical-magnetic model of FEA software—ANSYS. In order to control the glue ratio of fiber, this system contains capacitance/voltage convert model, through communication with PC, it can display the glue ratio of fiber.3.The system uses stepper as the driving power. For the spanning angle per step of the motor is very small, it can satisfy the need of practical engineering.
