Mineral resources are non-renewable resources, and copper resource of our country is limited. Chinese copper resource is main poor copper. Mineral resources are tend to poor,tiny and complex , mineral process becomes more and more difficult, and the requirement for the mineral raw materials with high quality and nonferrous metals is rising continuously, which lead to the contradiction between supply and demand are increasing. Therefore, how to alleviate the contradiction by carrying out the comprehensive utilization of mineral resources to keep national economic sustainable development has been one of major issues with technological innovation. So, aiming at the quality of Chinese copper resource, developing low-grade copper resource intensively and making full use of mineral resource comprehensively, which will help to ease the contradiction between supply and demand and have great economic and social significance.The topic chooses the polymetallic symbiotic mine in Tong Shankou copper mine area, the main metal minerals are chalcopyrite and pyrite and molybdenum, and the quality of raw material are much complicated. There are many factors lead to low-recovery of copper concentration and hard to make full use of valuable elements, such as the rough grain is lack of grinding, the fine grain is excessive of grinding, the ore character is complex and variable, the regime of medicament is unreasonable, etc. The paper bases on main mineral compositions,study on inlay relation and the analysis of former mineral process, on the purpose of increasing copper recovery and recovering valuable metals comprehensively; combining the quality of ore, do flotation experiment on grinding fineness,pulp pH,collector,frother dosage and usage in laboratory, adopting newly-research method, optimizing mineral process flow, then determining new flotation medicament and mineral process flow, finally attaining much ideal copper and sulfur separation's index, which supply detail theoretical datus for technical innovation in Tong Shankou copper mine.Base on the analysis of the theoretical research, do industrial experiment on copper middle ore flotation with new technology, the indicators of new process technology are improved greatly through optimization,debugging, and achieve good economic results. Industrial production practice prove that the new technology breakthrough in the stage grinding, the traditional order cycle flotation process model, in the case of not increasing ball mill , achieving copper middle selective classification and regrinding, forming a large circle of floating mill, Copper middle ore flotation process transformation is success, also provide certain reference for the technological transformation of similar mine . The experimental research in this paper has great developing future and prospect of application.
