Weihe River is the biggest branch of Huang River, Weihe valley of Shanxi is the center of country economy development for Shanxi. With the Western Development Drive, population is increasing, industry is progressing and standard of living is improving, so a mass of waste water and sewage inpour river way, water pollution and environment of Weihe aggravate, this hinder the development of Weihe valley of Shanxi seriously.The paper take Weihe in Shanxi as study object, from water pollution angle, based on data from 13 Hydrometric stations, Environment Statistic Annals and so on ,water pollution actuality of Weihe in Shanxi is analyzed, With the help of EPA-WASP7(Water Quality Analysis Simulation Program), the water quality of Weihe River is modeled, results of simulation are analyzed and discuss the reasons, then calculate Water Environment Capacity of Weihe. Conclusions are gained as follows:Applied of hydrodynamics and WASP7 software, the water quality of Weihe River is modeled, which explains the rules COD transform in River effectively. Results attain anticipated aim. The results show that the domestic and the industrial wastewater are the key pollution source, pollution in Xian are most serious; climatic drought and river flux reduce are external reason for water pollution; That the rate of disposing sewage is low and corporation do not reach the standard discharging foul water is reason for water pollution as well as.The Water Environment Capacity (WEC) is simulated by WASP7 for Weihe River. The value of WEC is about 355020.7kg/day, the amount of pollutants flowing into river should be cut 56.4% at 50% probability of flow; The value of WEC is about253240.3kg/day, the amount of pollutants flowing into river should be cut 68.9% at 90% probability of flow; The value of WEC is about 194112kg/day, the amount of pollutants flowing into river should be cut 76.2% at 90% probability of flow. According as these reasons, some measures and proposals are put for pollution control and ecological administration.
