The Research Of Numerical Control System Of Flaming Cutting Machine

With the explosion and widespread use in Embedded System, structure of open NC based on PC has been changed to be based on Embedded System, such as numerical control flaming cutting machine. But some numerical control system for flaming cutting machine has some shortcomings in reliability, agility and maneuverability. So a numerical control system based on ARM9 S3C2410 is proposed and designed in this paper, the system makes full use of microprocessor in high preference, low cost and low power wasting and powerful managing ability of Linux.The system uses S3C2410 for core of hardware, uses TFT LCD for screen of system, uses touch screen and keyboard for system inputting. Users can read files on U disk from USB. The MiniGUI system on Linux provides operation which is similar to Windows System's, accomplishes parameter setting of system, G code programming, graph programming and autocontrol of flaming cutting. By means of interpolation algorithm, the system changes G code to pulse signal for plane interpolation, and controls two composite step motors to work.After doing research for technique of Embedded System and the structure and theory of flaming cutting system, this paper chooses a hardware plat based on ARM9 S3C2410 according to system requirement and then designs drive circuit and establishes Integrated Development Environment for software. Then MiniGUI is ported to Linux OS for GUI. After that man-machine interface and drive program of step motor control are designed. At last, this paper depicts the plan interpolation and gives formula of line interpolation and arc interpolation, researches the method of speed control for fast movement and flaming cutting.Through testing, this design accomplishes the basic function of numerical control system, makes up the shortcomings in data transmiting and management of file, and establishes friendly man-machine interface. So it enhances the reliability and maneuverability of system.
