Strip Rolling is widely used for automobile manufacturing, food packaging, household electric, machinery, light industry, instruments, communications, military affairs and other fields .Strip products thickness precision is an important quality indicator, with the development of social economy and the higher demand of strip products quality, it's necessary to do deep research in rolling mill thickness control system, and meaningful to apply some modern control system theory into it.As for the existence of various factors, export sheet will appear periodical fluctuations. Collecting, analyzing, and processing the signal to design compensation device, can improve control precision and products quality.This article builds the mathematical model of rolling mill control system, simulates with MATLAB, and gets export sheet periodical fluctuations signal (including roller eccentricity signal and import thickness fluctuations). Sampling with the signal and processing it with FFT program can get the basic information of the signal: frequency, breadth and phrase. Combining the basic wave breadth and phrase with the system characteristic, can get the compensation signal. Adding it to rolling mill pressing system, can realize compensation control and improve strip control precision.
