The Application Of New Hydrazidedithioate Floatation Agents In Jinchuan Nickel Mine

Nickel Minerals of Jinchuan Nickel Mine are mainly composed of copper-nickel sulfides. Jinchuan Nickel Mine is a super large multi-metal inter-growing mineral deposit which is called the city of nickel. Copper and nickel are two important strategic resources, playing an important role in national economic and social progress. Enhancing the recovery rate of Jinchuan company Nickel Mine resources is Significant. At present, Jinchuan in processing one of the problems that exist in mineral processing is the winter indexes obvious lower than in summer. We synthesized some new alkylhydrazidedithioates instead of local agents as frother in order to improve the winter indexes.The salts and esters of dithiocarbamates are a kind of very important organic compounds and were applied to many fields, such as biology, pharmacy, agriculture, rubber, petroleum, circumstance protection, mineral concentration et al. Then the nickel and copper sulfides of Jinchuan were adopted for investigating the flotation properties of the synthesized products. The results showed that some of the synthesized products have good collecting ability. Especially the hexanehydrazidedithioate are superior to diethylcarbamodithioate in selectivity and Foaming Property. The nickel and copper concentrate grade of the product higher than old reagents and the recovery of the product is about one percent higher. Contrasting old and new reagents test proved that using new reagent can get better Ore dressing indexes. As a new type of sulfide ores collectors of high flotation properties, alkylhydrazidedithioate are likely to be used successfully in the flotation industry. The last, by means of the UV spectrophotometer, IR spectrophotometer, it is primary investigated that the action mechanism of lower winter indexes, proposed some measures to resolve it.
