The high-quality demand for the strip requires high-precision of strip profile control. Strip profile control mostly bases on the theories of elastic deformation of rollers. The existing theories of elastic deformation of rollers include analytical method, influence function theory, numerical calculation method and so on. As to analytical method,there is limitation on the rolling pressure assumption. As to numerical method, the precision of calculation is high, but its calculation work is so heavy that it is hard to be applied in engineering. As to influence function theory, it is widely used because of no assumption on curve of rolling pressure and smaller amount of calculation. At present, the researches on influence function theory are carried out by assuming the roller neck loaded with the concentrated load, the difference between top and bottom elastic deformation of rollers and strip not in the middle of rollers are thoughtless, the result of elastic deformations of rollers which is form the model of roller neck loaded with the concentrated load can't accord with practice well.In this paper, according to study on the differences between top and bottom deformation of rollers, which is due to the difference between the two housings in stiffness coefficient,the present 1/2 elastic deformation of rollers model is difficult to meet the precision of calculation. To solve the shortcomings above, the influence function mechanical model and deformation equation of the whole rollers when roller neck loaded with the uniform load are established in this paper, and it also discusses the rules of the whole rollers elastic deformation when strip steel is in or not in the middle of rollers and left and right bending force is different and so on. The main works are as following:1)By using the finite element method and influence function theory the differences of rollers elastic deformation between roller necks loaded with the concentrated load and loaded with the uniform load are analyzed comparatively, which affects thickness.2)Influence function theory is adopted to analyze the influence on the top and bottom rollers elastic deformations for the different stiffness of the single housing. As a result, the present 1/2 rollers elastic deformations affects the calculating precision of strip profile and thickness without considering the difference between top and bottom rollers elastic deformations.3 ) The mechanical model and deformation equations of the whole rollers elastic deformation are established. The influence function equations of roller neck loaded with the uniform load are put into the mechanical model, and the case of strip not in the middle of rollers is considered. MATLAB is employed to compile the synthetical calculating program of strip shape after off-center rolling.4)According to calculating the rolling off-center conditions such as strip not in the middle of rollers,different left and right bending force,the disproportionation thickness of incoming material,the digital results of the rules of strip profile and elastic deformation of rollers are given. The analytic model of the whole rolls when roller necks loaded with the uniform load has been established in this paper. A calculating model has been provided to achieve the high-precision of strip profile and thickness control.
