According to the characteristics and requirements of children doing exercise,in this paper we designed a control system of children treadmill based on ARM , which plays the main role in raising electronic pet, playing background music, outputing audio remind, detecting real-time heart rate,measuring height and weight of children, and preserving information and so on . The content of the paper is as follows:Firstly,at the hardware aspect, main control board, functional control board and the non-contact measure of height module were designed.We choosed FS2410 development board as the main control board ,in which touch screen display,audio circuit and communicate interface using S3C2410 as the core were included. The functional control board was connected and controlled with the main control board through extended interface.The functional control board included power amplifier circuit, weight measurement circuit, detecting of heart rate circuit and PWM driver circuit. The non-contact height measurement module included transmiting and receiving ultrasonic circuit,independent single-chip microcontroller system and display circuit.Secondly, at the software aspect, main control program and relevant subprograms were designed. The design focused on the software programming of the audio module, key modules, LCD driver module, PWM speed control module, and the non-contact height measurement module.Thirdly, it detailedly introduced developing the QT/Embedded graphics, which was used to design electronic pet and interface of treadmills, building the QT/Embedded development Platform, studying on the practical applications of mechanism with signal and slot, using QT Graphics designer to design interface, writing relevant files and codes,generating executable files,and then download them into the main control board and controls it.Finally, this dissertation briefly described the design and implementation of the system transplant, which included setting up embedded Linux development environment, compiling kernel, generating cramfs root files, and writing hardware drivers based on the operating system.In this paper ,we designed and build the development platform of the control system of children treadmill, studied on the design of QT graphics interface and designed some entertainment functions for the Treadmill.
