Plate and strip products are the backbone of the steel industry. Shape control is a key technology for strip mill. Temper rolling is an important method to improve strip quality. Shape control of temper mill affect finished metal plate and strip shape quality directly. Current shape control means applied to temper mill is backward compared with cold-rolled. For the further improve of shape, a variety of shape control technology have been developed. DSR(Dynamic Shape Roll) technology is the latest achievements of shape control, in theory it's the ideal shape control technology at present. Domestic temper mill at this stage have not yet involved in DSR technology, however, it has been used for temper rolling abroad. In this dissertation, the shape control of DSR technology is taken as researching object to analyze the special property in temper rolling. This study will provide the DSR technology a theoretical basis for shape control and application of temper mill.The theoretical model for shape control characteristics of DSR temper mill is established. Deformation model of DSR temper rolls system is established through analytical method. The model is calculated based on influence function method, combining the particular principle of DSR roll and the distribution of the hollow roller and the special structure of briquette. On this basis, combining the specificity of temper rolling, metal deformation model is established. With coupling of the two theory model, the whole shape analysis model is established. Then prepare the model of computing processes and procedures. This has established theoretical foundation for further research.Using the established theoretical model, the flatness-adjusting efficacy of DSR has been studied. Roll gap, pressure between rolls and front tension stress transverse distribution adjusting efficacy curve of bending force and each briquetting forces are calculated. The influence of width and elongation have been considered. This reveals the shape control's essence of DSR technology. Through this, shape control capabilities of each adjusting mechanism working alone have been defined.The crown adjusting rang of roll gap is calculated in the typical working conditions for DSR temper mill. Analyze the influence of width and elongation, and have a comprehensive evaluation of the shape control ability. This study has an important guiding significance for setting the work roll bending force and briquetting forces distribution in shape control for the actual production. This provides a theoretical basis for the online control and set of DSR technology.
