Tile press is special equipment for the ceramic industry, also key equipment set of mechanical, hydraulic, computer control technology and ceramic technology. It has a high flow high-power Hydraulic system, which advanced or not directly affects the quality of press performance and brick. In order to make the press movement of tile press gentler and smoother, also its press force more accurate. We analyzed the hydraulic system of tile press in the background of major breakthroughs in key areas of Guangdong and Hong Kong tender in 2008.Reference the domestic and international research on the hydraulic system of tile press and energy conservation and efficiency for the tile press. Analyzed the tile press'hydraulic circuit, contains beam down, beam rise, pressure, exhaust and ejection.Built the static mathematical models for the hydraulic circuit mentioned above. Analysis the characteristics of speed-load, speed characteristics and the static stiffness for the circuits. Established the dynamic mathematical models of the hydraulic circuits mentioned above in transfer function method. Study on the tile press's work cycle's speed response characteristics. Analysis the main parameters, which affects the dynamic characteristics, and found ways to improve it.Take AMESim as the simulation platform, built simulation systems for the tile press hydraulic circuit, and finished the dynamic simulation. By the hydraulic system test, we obtained the experimental data, such as the curves of the beam movement, pressure and valve's control signal and flow. Compared the simulation data with experimental data, the result shows that the hydraulic simulation systems built by AMESim were correct. Analysis why there were errors between the experimental and simulation results and the key parameters which affect the dynamic characteristics of the tile press. This provided basic theories for the design and optimization of for the tile press hydraulic system.
