Automatic hydraulic tile press is an equipment which presses granular powders into varied tiles.As one of the hydraulic press machine,hydraulic tile press has some problems like leakage,noise,high air content in the hydraulic oil,cavitation erosion and so on,on account of the particularity of its liquid-filled system and pressurization system.Besides,the unreasonable design hydraulic system will cause other problems like costing too much time on pressurization,boundary's erosion and hydraulic oil oxidation.Therefore,in order to enhance the performance of the hydraulic tile press,it is necessary to carry out theoretical modeling and simulation analysis.By applying the Bernoulli equation and continuity equation,the hydrokinetics model of the liquid charge and discharge process are deduced,which are more comprehensive,for having considered the acceleration effect on the pressure.Then,the simulation result is get by using Fluent to do a 3ddp dynamic-mesh air-liquid two-phase flow transient simulation.Moreover,an analysis is made after comparing the simulation result with hydrokinetics model and real data.The analysis indicates that: it is easy for the high velocity curved flow to generate low pressure,which may cause erosion;cavitation in charging valve flow runner;unreasonable structure of the upper oil tank will cause roaring waves on the liquid level,which will let more air to mix into the oil.For the sake of solving these problems,there are some recommendations: optimizing the motion curves of the moving beam to reduce the top velocity;smoothing the shape of charging valve to increase the pressure;mounting a baffle in the upper oil tank to reduce the vibration on the liquid level.The liquid charge and discharge process kinetics model are bulit.These model are solved by using linear function to do several assigning range linearization,which is more accurate than the Taylor series expansion linearization.Meanwhile,utilizing AMESim to do a hydraulic simulation for the liquid charge and discharge process,also the pressurization process.After comparing with real data,the AMESim model is used to do a research about the air content effect.The result indicates that: the higher the air content,the slower the moving beam rises and the faster it descend;more air in the oil means more time the pressurization cost.This conclusion responds the problems above,and further clarifies the necessity of reducing the air content.Based on the research above and relative theories like energy conservation,curved flow function and such,the fluid domain structure of the upper oil tank,orifice,flow runner and hydro-cylinder are optimized respectively,then combined to do a Fluent flow simulation analysis.After compared with the original result,the optimized structure is confirmed that: it can reduce the air content and the cavitation erosion,increase the whole pressure in the hydraulic tile press,unify the force on the moving beam;however it is unclear whether the optimized structure can reduce the air content in the hydro-cylinder.This conclusion can offer some important advices to the designation and optimization of hydraulic tile press.
