| The combinatoral directed valve trays (CDVT) were studied, in which the rectangular and trapezoidal directed valves were combined according to different proportions. The hydrodynamic characteristic of the CDVT was studied in the 1.6×0.4mm2 rectangular laboratory column.The liquid weeping, entrainment and tray pressure drop were measured by using air-water system in the hydrodynamic experiments. The results show that the CDVT of appropriate combined proportions are of perfect characteristics, having a high capacity, higher tray efficiency, lower pressure drop etc.The CDVT are used in the separating equipment of butadiene, which achieves good results. |
