Rapier loom is one of looms that have been used most abroad, the direction of development is high speed, easy to use, humanity interface and modularize. The work speed of foreign advanced rapier loom have been got up to 650r/min, The modularization design of entire system is based on CAN bus, the main control system use 32-bit microprocessor as its core, and update the system in time. Whereas, the speed of rapier looms that designed in domestic is lower mainly, use PLC and 8-bit controller, the communication technology of bus can not been used in practice, and update the system slowly. Under the condition, we need to develop the new generation rapier looms that have independent intellectual property and equal to the advanced looms in function.Rapier loom is the automation that has mechanical engineering, micro-electronic, sensors, communication technology, hydraulic pressure technology, operation system and so on. It can produce different design according to the need, adjust the technical parameter, get different kinds of fabric.Firstly, the work discuss something about five movements of rapier loom and its work theory, then study the modulations of loom. Divide the loom to parts that conclude dobby machine, weft feeder, weft selection, spindle, weft and beating, ELO, ETU, lubrication system, man-machine interface, buttons, brake structure and so on, then clean up the signals of these parts.Analyze the entire solution of advanced rapier loom that based on structure of machine, give out a high-speed, reliability and low-cost hardware solution of rapier loom control system that adapt to the product fact of domestic. Divide the control system into input signal solving module, output signal solving module, power system, main control system, and up, lower mother board. These modules use CAN bus to communicate, and the system can work under high transfer speed and more reliability. The design use 32-bit microprocessor that design by Freescasle company as the core of input signal solving module and main control system.According to the need of the function, designed the hardware circuit of input signal solving module with MCF5235 as its core. It extend 16Mbytes Flash module,16Mbytes SDRAM module, keep CAN bus interface, RS232 interface; design 78-way scan circuit of switch signal,2-way collection circuit of analog signal, signal collect and compare circuit of absolute photoelectricity coder; and design the BDM download interface, clock circuit, encoder circuit, transceiver circuit, power and so on to keep the board can work normal and debug easily.According to the analysis of circuit and environment that input signal solving module work in, design the PCB that based on the study of EMC. Under the condition of ensuring the parameter of produce technics, distribute the layer of PCB, distribute the component and layout that based on the circuit and then place the copper.The task is essential and long sight to the development of new generation rapier loom of domestic.
