Assessment Of Urban Ecosystem Health In Kaifeng

At present, the research of Ecosystem Health has been a hot spot in ecology research. Along with development of Urban Ecosystem Health research at home and abroad, the assessment, regulate and control of Urban Ecosystem Health have already caused high attention in academic circles, government policy makers and directors. To research Urban Ecosystem Health, the author tries to apply theories and measures of Urban Ecosystem Health to urban ecology study and brings Healthy Conception in Urban Ecosystem research, moreover, analyses constraint of forcing UrbanEcosystem Health, timely adjust and modify human activities occurring pathological Urban Ecosystem and maintain good urban environment in the development of the economy in order to achieve Urban Ecosystem's positive cycle and realize sustainable urban development.This article analyses and sums up Urban Ecosystem's concept, structure, function and theory of Urban Ecosystem Health assessment, establishes Indexes System based the four elements: system vitality, system organization, system resilience and system service function by analytic hierarchy process, structure Urban Ecosystem Health assessment model using Fuzzy Synthetic assess and apply this model to proceed an overall merit for the Urban Ecosystem Health of Kaifeng city. By assessment, some conclusions are drawn:To assess developmental level of Kaifeng Urban Ecosystem Health from 2004 to 2008 based 2004 as base year, the health level was in a healthy condition as a whole, but its unreasonable internal structure of ecosystem, bad urban environment condition and incomplete infrastructure were facts to restrict the level of the Urban Ecosystem Health of Kaifeng city. The results through specific analysis show that Kaifeng province Urban Ecosystem Health Composite index was on the rise as a whole from 2004 to 2008, the health condition was healthy, however, inharmonious development between each element and large difference of growth rate between each index of internal system were also existed . According to quantizing the analysis assessment results, it is indicated each element's health level in Urban Ecosystem and specific reasons resulting in decreasing urban health composite index,and reach constraint of influencing Urban Ecosystem Health.By means of analyzing the change of the Urban Ecosystem Health of Kaifeng city,the article is mentioned feasible ways and effective suggests to improve Kaifeng city Urban Ecosystem Health level: carry out Kaifeng city Urban Ecosystem Health management; Strengthen integrative environment management; Improve the service function of Urban Ecosystem; Develop Kaifeng ecosystem urban construction in circular economy model; Strengthen propaganda and education of protecting environment and improve ecological civilization awareness.
