Plate is a kind of important steel material, what the development of national economy rely on. And it is also an indispensable steel variety for national industrialization. When hot plates are levelled, the working state of the levellers have a great influence on the products'quality. Because of the complicated structure of machine,it often brings about some production problems, which will affect the quality and cost of production.In this paper, the author takes 11-roller hot plate leveller in one factory as subject, focusing on micro-tension leveling process and distribution of temperature together with stress in roller, so as to provide reference for solving practical production problems.The paper describes firstly plate bending levelling process theoretically,and gives an analysis on the micro-tension source. Then in the light of the shipbuilding plate in one factory, a simulation to the micro-tension levelling process is displayed, of which is supported from dynamic FEM software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, by using of actual bending parameters collected from factory. Additionally,the stress distribution in plate is researched under three kinds of speed distribution between working roller groups.In the roller temperature field analisys, thermal conductivity equation about working roller is formulated by considering three types of heat transfer,thermal conduction ,thermal radiation and convection. After the parameters of materials and heat transfer boundary conditions determined, three-dimensional finite element model of working roller is created within FEM analysis software ANSYS10.0. And then through applying the dynamic loaded APDL procedure, the research about roller simulation of temperature field is realized.On the basis of the roller temperature analysis results ,steady-state thermal stress distribution inside the roller is analysised after setting appropriate constraints and load conditions.Then,three-dimensional thermo-mechnical coupling stress field is analysised.Finally, in order to verify the correctness of the analysis, the author compares the analysis of temperature simulation results with measured data from experiment.The results show that this study is feasible and correct.This research will provide theoretical basis and scientific reference for further improving the quality of plate levelling, leveller design and increasing the life of working roller.
