The cost of surface construction took up a substantial proportion in all investment of oilfield construction,to do the investment control in the design stage could effectively save the investment.In this paper optimization method of gathering network in complex terrain conditions,extreme-low permeability oilfield had been researched and optimum design software of gathering network had been developed.How to bypass obstacles had been studied in this paper,using a algorithm fitted for optimization design of gathering network in complex terrain.Modeling of bypassing obstacles were presented.Also their solving scheme was developed.the variety effects caused by the obstacles was considered in the optimization,the algorithm was integrated into calculation of pipeline length,and save their path bypassed the obstacles.It improved the calculation precision while considering the obstacles.According to the characteristics of complex terrain conditions,extreme-low permeability oilfield,mathematical model of gathering network had been studied,realized the global optimization after the well group was divided,avoided the computation fell into a local optimum. In the process of solving the mathematical model, first, an improved searching border method was used to dividing well group,and then the booster pump station model in this paper was used to resolve the problem that insufficient back pressure of oilwell. Both method lay the groundwork for genetic algorithm.Penalty function was used in solving constraint problems and station site falling in the obstacle, the results showed that the model was appropriate,the algorithm was convergent.SRTM data used as terrain data in the oilfield involved in the operation in optimization process,making the abstract model more realistic, effectively improving the accuracy of the optimal design. C # language was used to develop the software and its advantage had been well represented.The use of C # ,OpenGL technologies and SRTM data realized three-dimensional display both of oilfield terrain and the optimizing results,showing good results.Taking Changqing Oilfield for a practical example,the results was that the best gathering radius was 2km.And genetic algorithm parameters having influences on the optimization results has been studied.The results show that the genetic algorithm works well in optimization.
