Chiral compound, meaning and method of enantioseparation, preparation of chiral membrane, and high performance liquid chromatography were briefly introduced. The main works were listed as follows:We studied the interfacial polycondensation reaction of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin and 1,6-disocyanatohexane, which was used to prepare the extraction membrane of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin on polysulfone membrane surface. A better adsorption with 55.4% enantiomer excess(e.e.) for D,L-p-hydroxyphenylglycine was reached. We also used hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin as adsorbing material to study the adsorption of D,L-p-hydroxyphenylglycine, and over 48.2%(e.e.) was obtained. The chiral stationary phase of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin was packed into stainless steal column of HPLC, which showed some separation for D,L-p-hydroxyphenylglycine. When the membrane of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin was used for HPLC, the enantioseparation of D,L-p-hydroxyphenylglycine was also carried out.The membrane of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin was prepared to study the selective permeability of D,L-p-hydroxyphenylglycine with concentration difference and differential pressure as the driving force. 43.76% and 23.17% enantiomer excess of D,L-p-hydroxyphenylglycine were exhibited for dialysis and ultrafiltration, respectively.
