Clinical Study On Treatment Of Extensive Anxiety Of Kidney Deficiency Type By

Objective:Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) has become one of the main mental disorders which harm to human mental health. There is a growing body of research describing this disease. And it has attracted the attention of the majority of the health care professionals and the general public.Anxiolytic, widely used in modern medicine, has serious side effects such as sedation, hypnosis, muscle relaxation, tolerance, and withdrawn effects and so on. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment, which is based on the concept of integrity and differentiation of syndromes, has gained good curative effects; therefore it has been paid much attention by more and more specialists.By analyzing the treatment progress of integrated Chinese and Western medicine for GAD, combined with clinical research, the efficiency of add and subtract Zishui Qinggan decoction to the patients which have suffered from the GAD with the syndrome of "deficiency of the kidney and Hyperactivity of liver" will be clear, embodies the advantages of TCM treatment of GAD, provide reference for the research and development of anti-anxiety new TCM Patent Prescription.Methods:The research collection period was from June 2013 to January 2015 and the data were collected from The Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 60 cases which meet the conditions for the patients which have suffered from the GAD with the syndrome of "deficiency of the kidney and Hyperactivity of liver".27 were male,33 were female, aged from 18 to 74 years old. By using a randomized method of observation, the ratio of 1:1 is divided into TCM group and control group,30 cases in each group. The control group would take anti-anxiety drug based on the newest medication guide of psychiatric, for example, Deanxit. At the same time the TCM group would take Chinese herbal tea, add and subtract Zishui Qinggan decoction,2 times a day. The 60 cases also can be divided into 3 groups to compare:light anxiety group, medium anxiety group and severe anxiety group. Observation will carry on before treatment and 1,2,4,6 weeks after, changes in HAMA integral to evaluation of the effect and the reduced rate, compiling statistics and analyzing by SPSS 19.0.Results:(1)According to the comparison among the 3 different anxiety degrees groups, there are significant statistical differences between groups, and the anxiety degrees may be associated with sex.(2) HAMA scores of two groups after 1,2,4,6 weeks were significantly decreased after treatment, with statistical significance (P< 0.05),it shows both of the two groups after 1,2,4,6 weeks were effective in the treatment of GAD. HAMA scores of the total effective rate between the two groups after 1,2,4 weeks had no significant difference (P> 0.05), it shows that the treatment of the two groups after 1,2,4 weeks are almost with the same efficiency. But HAMA scores of the total effective rate between the two groups after 6 weeks had significant difference (P< 0.05), it shows that long-term efficacy is better than the control group. At the end of the observation period, recovery of TCM group in 11 cases, significant improvement 15 cases,2 cases improved,2 cases invalid, with the efficiency rate 93.33%. The control group was 1 cases,20 cases,6 cases,3 cases, with the efficiency rate 90.00%. Difference between two groups had significant(P< 0.05), it shows that the efficiency of TCM group is better than the control group. Grouped by anxiety degrees, after 6 weeks the efficiency between the TCM group and the control group in 3 different anxiety degrees GAD patients had statistical significance (P<0.05),it shows that the efficiency in both the light GAD patients of the TCM group was better than the control group, the efficiency in medium and severe GAD patients was on the contrary.(3)Both of the two groups had few side-effects in treatment, and the TCM group had fewer side-effects than the control group.Conclusion:(1) Anxiety degrees may be associated with sex, females are more likely to cause anxiety, but the anxiety degrees of the male GAD patients are worse than female.(2)The long-term efficiency of add and subtract Zishui Qinggan decoction is better than Deanxit. Add and subtract Zishui Qinggan decoction is better than the Deanxit in efficiency of light GAD patients. Combining add and subtract Zishui Qinggan decoction and small dose Deanxi t can make better efficiency to medium and severe GAD patients in clinical.(3)Both of add and subtract Zishui Qinggan decoction and Deanxit had few side-effects in treatment, and the TCM group had fewer side-effects than the control group.
