Blood-prick therapy is also called bloodletting, which is a kind of method for the external treatment of related diseases by using three-edged needles or some other type of needles to prick the body’s superficial collaterals, veins or specific places to release a certain amount of blood. Based on the clinical experience of tutor and exiting research, the studying team designed an experiment to observe the effect of serum HA, LN and liver tissue pathology, to investigate the therapeutic mechanism of pricking blood therapy treating liver fibrosis. We hope to open a new way to treat HF. the essay contains two parts:experimental research and literature research. The first part is literature review, including two summaries, to study the mechanism of hepatic fibrosis in the view of western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. The second part is experimental research:Objective:Observe the effect of serum HA, LN and liver tissue pathology, to investigate the therapeutic mechanism of pricking blood therapy treating liver fibrosis.Method:forty-eight male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:a normal control group, a hepatic fibrosis group, a pricking blood group and a colchicine control group. Except the normal control group, other three groups were induced into liver fibrosis model with injecting 40% CCL4 diluted by peanut oil into subcutaneous part of nuchal region of rat. From the seventh week, the pricking blood group was pricked blood on superficial vein attached to zusanli, taichong, yanglingquan of rats’hind legs, with 2 times a week; The colchicine control group was given colchicine 200 μg/kg/d with 5 times a week, until the 12 week. After 12weeks, HA, LN, AST, ALT were detected in the blood drew from the abdominal aorta after anesthesia with 10% choral hydrate, and morphological structure in hepatic lobule were observed through Hematoxylin-Eosin staining.Result:Compared with the normal group, The model group significantly improved the level of HA, LN, AST, ALT contented in serum, and Hematoxylin-Eosin staining result of model group showed significantly obvious liver fibrillation compared with that in normal group, Compared with normal group, the level of HA, LN, AST, ALT contented in serum were significantly reduced both colchicine control group and pricking blood group, and slight liver fibrillation was shown by these two group’s Hematoxylin-Eosin staining results. Besides, Colchicine control group had no clear HA, LN, AST, ALT level differences in pricking blood group. Conclusion:Pricking blood therapy can significantly decrease the level of HA, LN, AST, ALT contented in serum of HF rats, and the therapy can also lighten the condition of Liver fibrosis, and stop the development of Liver fibrosis, which may be connected with the decrease of HA and LN in serum of rats, which related to the mechanism of decrease the level of ECM in serum of rats.
