A Systematic Review Of The Treatment Of Migraine With Nourishing Serum And Granules Combined With Flunarizine Hydrochloride

Background and objectiveMigraine is one common type of primary headache,belongs to the chronic nerve and blood vessels of the diseases,and its pathogenesis involves many aspects. At present,the treatment of migraine is varied, especially with the deepening research of the Traditional Chinese Medicine, more and more effective reports of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of migraine emerge in endlessly in recent years.Yangxueqingnao granule is a commonly used drugs in the treatment of migraine in Chengdu University of TCM hospital, its curative effect is also recognised by most of the patients. This article applies the method of evidence-based medicine system evaluation to evaluate Yangxueqingnao granule combined flunarizine in the treatment of migraine clinical efficacy and safety of the randomized controlled experiment.Materials and methodsAccording to the principle of systematic review prescribed by the Cochrane Collaboration,we develop searching-strategies,and comprehensive search Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT) domestic and overseas about Yangxueqingnao granule combined flunarizine in the treatment of migraine, including electronic searches of Tsinghua Tongfang CNKI database, the VIP,Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), Wanfang database, EMBASE CD-ROM databases, MEDLINE and Cochrane, and manual retrieval Chinese medical journals, screening literature based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Assesed the quality of Publications based on the Jadad scale and extract the relavant data. Meta-analyses were performed for the included studies using RevMane5.2software. ResultThere are12RCTs including1412patients,781patients in combination medicine group,the total effective rate is93.1%,631patients in Western medicine group, the total effective rate is81.1%.But the quality of covering RCTs generally is not high.The results of Meta-analysis show that the combination medicine control group can improve the total effective rate of patients than the western medicine group, and will not increase the side effects of the drugs.ConclusionAccording to Systematic reviews, we get the prompt:for the treatment of migraine,the method of Yangxueqingnao granule combined flunarizine is more effective. But generally low methodological quality and potential publication bias affected the reliability of the conclusions. Therefore, high-quality large samples, multi-center clinical randomized controlled trials are needed, to provide conclusive clinical evidence for the treatment of the combination with traditional and western medicine.
