Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Tongmai Jiangzhuo Decoction In Treating Coronary Heart Disease Stable Angina Pectoris (Phlegm Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Purpose:1.To observe the clinical efficacy of Tong Mai Jiang Zhuo decoction(Channel-Unblocking and Turbidity-Descending Formula) on the combination of coronary heart disease unstable angina(phlegm turbidity and blood stasis type) and hyperlipemia. 2.To observe the effect of vein material decoction on Blood Lipid.Material and method:60 patients with coronary heart disease unstable angina(phlegm turbidity and blood stasis type) who were treated in the Cardiology Department of our hospital from December 2013 to December 2014 were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases) and control group(30 cases). The patients in the control group were dosed routine western medicines and oral rosuvastatin. The patients in the treatment group were treated by the routine western medicines coupled with Tong Mai Jiang Zhuo decoction. The formula of Tong Mai Jiang Zhuo decoction was composed of starwort root(15g), immature orange fruit(15g), scutellaria root(15g), rhubarb root and rhizome(10g), pinellia rhizome(10g), white peony root(15g), danshen root(20g), Indian bread(15g), Oriental waterplantain rhizome(20g) and liquorice root(10g). The dose could be modified according to the symptoms. Regularly, 100 ml of the decoction was taken twice a day. The treatment was usually observed for 14 days. If the patient suffered the angina pectoris during the treatment, nitrates could be applied orally or intravenously to relieve the pain. The clinical efficacies of two groups were compared by observing the main clinical symptom, life quality and lipid levels(triglycerides, total cholesterol, and low density lipoprotein) and the dynamic evolution of the electrocardiogram.Results:The treatment group with Tong Mai Jiang Zhuo decoction demonstrated more positive effects on the main symptoms of angina pectoris, the dynamic evolution of the electrocardiogram and Hypolipidemic than the control group with western medicines alone. This comparison showed significant differences(p<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of western medicines coupled with Tong Mai Jiang Zhuo decoction did have curative effects on the Angina Pectoris of Coronary Heart disease(phlegm turbidity and blood stasis type), which were primarily reflected on the relief of chest tightness and pain, dynamic evolution of the electrocardiogram, utilization rate of nitrates and reducing the blood lipid.
