The forest plantations are mostly the difficult planting sites in Chengde area now. Container seedling planting is one of the most effective methods to resolve the planting in difficult site. The pine container seedling which use nursery soil as a substrate is the main tree species In the local area, in order to increase the local broad-leaved tree species, we select Maple (Acer truncatum Bunge) for the study trees Because of its strong resistance. In this paper, we through straw compost, container nursery substrate composition filtering and chemical root control technology research in Chengde Longhua Sumuying forest farm, to provide method in making full use of local agricultural waste, to provide theoretical basis in Maple container seedlings selecting high quality matrix and chemical root control technology. Through this study we can draw the following conclusions:(1) In the pile composting process,4 different treatments had significantly high temperature period, the chemical indicators and biological indicators changed regularly. At the end of the composting, each treatment of NH4+-N content decreased to 1.0g·kg-1, NO3--N was significantly increased, pH maintained 7.6—8.1, C/N maintained 14—18, T value was less than 0.6, and GI greater than 100%, which were consistent with the standard of compost decomposition, and there is a certain correlation between each indicator. In 23, F4 [V (sunflower straw):V (corn straw):V (soybean straw):V (chicken droppings)=(8 /3):(8/3):(8/3):2] reached maturity basically first, which followed by F2, in 30th, four ratio reached maturity.(2) In the whole process of seedling growth, before June 30th, is the emergence and seedling growth period, June 30th to August 30th, is the rapid growth period of seedlings; it is the hardening period from the August 30th to the end of the growing season. In 30th of July, the various treatments to show differences in seedling growth, we take a Comprehensive Evaluation on each seedling growth index at the end of the growing season, the best matrix is A1B2, The density of matrix was 0.58g.cm-3, maximum water holding capacity was 101.98%, capillary water was 72.36%, the minimum water holding capacity was 64.04%, pH was 7.22, total nitrogen content was 4.502g.kg-1, total phosphorus content wasl.542g.kg-1, total potassium content was 9.674g.kg-1.The second is A3B1, again is A2B1, which improves the quality of seedlings.(3) In all root control treatments, the b3c2 (The concentration of Cu (OH) 2is 140g.L-1) effective control of the total length of root growth, increase the number of>5cm lateral roots, the total root length, total surface area and total root volume also increased significantly, which is the best one; there is a very significant impact through the treatment blc2 (The concentration of Cu2 (OH) 2CO3 is 140g·L-1). When the chemical concentration is 210g.L-1, the seedlings will be some growth inhibition. Zn pharmaceutical processing also played a role in controlling the root, but the effect was not significant with the ck..There is a certain influence on the other Morphological index and physiological indicators of the maple seedlings quality, the result showed that the role of chemical agents is Cu (OH)2> Cu2 (OH) 2CO3> ZnCO3·2Zn (OH)2, that is Cu Pharmacy more effective than Zn Pharmacy's, the role of the concentration of chemical agents is 140g.L-1>210g.L-1>70g·L-1.
