Studies On The Constituents Of Sambucus Williamsii Hance

Sambucus williamsii Hance has been used as folk herbal drugs in China. The plants are all medicinal parts. It tastes bitter and is non-poisonous material, it has Clearing away wind and wetness, dissipating blood stasis and killing pain effects. It is mainly used for the treatment of fracture. Sambucus williamsii Hance is also lowering serum cholesterol ester, anti-senility, keeping brain healthy and so on. It will be a good health herb.However, the studies on the chemical constituents and biological activities have been reported very little. So the author of this article have studied on acitive par^ chemical constituents ^ pharmaceutics, and the result will be the base of the further study on 5. williamsii Hance, clinical application^ developing and utilizing the source of S. williamsii Hance.Seven constituents are isolated from 50% EtOH extract of 5. williamsii Hance by chemical and chromatographic methods. Compound 1> compound 2 and conpound 3 were identified by ^-NMR* 13C-NMR and MS. The others continue to be detected and identified.
