Purpose:To observe the curative effect of Jiedubaihu decoction on Qifen Syndrome of Seasonal Febrile Disease and discuss the mechanism, expect to guide the clinical practice.Methods:In the experiment, 38 rabbits are divided into 4 groups randomly:normal control group( group A), model group( group B),baihu group ( group C) , jiedubaihu group( group D).Endotoxin are injected by mainline in group B ,C and D with the dose of 15u g/Kg, namly evil-attacking, physiological saline is done in group A with the same dose. At the same time and before 2 hours,Baihu decoction is injected intraperitoneally in group C with the dose of 7ml/Kg, and Jiedubaihu in group D with the dose of lOml/Kg, physiological saline is done in group A and B with the dose of lOml/Kg.Results:1. the change of temperature: The temperature of group B increases compared with of group A(P<0. 01). The temperature of group C and group D all decrease compared with of group B (P<0. 01- P<0. 05).2. the change of WBC: WBC of group B increases compared with of group A(P<0. 01). WBC of group C and group D all decrease compared with of group B (P<0. 01- P<0. 05) .3. the change of SOD: The level of SOD in B falls compared with of group A(P<0. 01), The level of SOD in group C and D rise compared with of group B (P<0. 01-P<0.05), and group D and C show significent difference (P<0. 05).4. the change of ET: The level of ET in group C and D decrease compared with of group B which rises abnormally (P<0. 01), and the statistic difference exist between group C and D(P<0.05).5. the change of IgM and IgG: The level of IgM and IgG in group B both rise compared with of group A (P<0. 01- P<0. 05). The level of IgM in group C and D compared with of group B have no significent difference (P>0. 05). While of IgG in group C and D fall compared with of group B (P<0. 05) . There are no statistic difference between the level of IgG in group C and D (P>0. 05).6. pathological observation:There are no obvious changes in the hearts and kidneys of the 4 group . there are some petechia on the surface of lungs in groupB and C, and their livers and spleens are all congested. The changes are not found in group A and D. Microscopsic observation:Pathological changes are found in some organs of groupB and C, such as tissue engorgement, hyperplasia;slight changes in group D;while no changes in group A.conclusions:1. At the stage of Qifen Syndrome in Seasonal Febrile desease Jiedubaihu decoction can not only remarkably improve the symptoms but treat the fever ofthe model rabbits. It can ameliorate the indexes of the blood , such as SOD, ET, IgG..On the pathological aspect.it can reduce the damage on some organs.2.The drugs for clearing heat, dispersing blood stasis, supplementing vital energy and nourishing Yin are applied in Jiedubaihu decoction, So the effect is better than baihu decoction which only can clear heat and nourish Yin.3. The result of the experiment prove the that dominant heat , blood stasis, deficiency of vital energy and body fluid exsist at the stage of of Qifen Syndrome.4. The experiment manifests:the effect of baihu decoction is insufficient for the Qifen syndrome For advancing the curative effect on Qifen Syndrome in Seasonal Febrile desease the drugs for heat-clearing, dispersing blood stasis, supplementing vital energy and nourishing Yin should be applied.
