Clinincal Observation Of The Effect Of Mao Gen Di Huang Tang In Treating Pediatric Isolated Hematuria

Objective: To observe the effects of decoction Maogendihuang on peditric isolated hematuria(IH). Then to discuss the pathogenesis of isolated hematuria(IH) and the mechanisma of Chinese medication, and meanwhile to provide theoretical bases for clinical treatment of Cineses medicine based on the differentiation of symptoms of TCM and efficacy of peditric IH.Materials and methods: 32 IH patients , who have been treated in our hospital from Oct 2004 to Jan 2006, were randomly divided into 2 group: Chinese traditional medicine treatment group and Western medicine comparison group. The treatment group patients received decoction Maogendihuang, the comparison group patients were treated with Western medicine following theirs symptom. To observe the curative effects of 2 group.Result:1. The counts of uric sediment red blood bell are reduced obviously by treating with decoction Maogendihuang. Comparing with before treatment, there is very marked different after treat by 1 month , 3 month , 6 month (p< 0.01); In comparison group, Comparing with before treatment, there is marked different after treat by 3 month, 6 month(p< 0.05).2. Contrast two group before and after treatment, the treatment group's counts of uric sediment red blood bell are lest than those of the comparison group after treating 1 months , 3 months and 6 months markbaly (p<0.05, p <0.01, p<0.01).3.
