Cliaical Study On Effect Of Duanchuan Oral Liguild In Preventing Asthma At Remission Stage.

Background:Today,West Medicine can not give fundamental treatment for bronchial asthma ,Traditional Chinese Medical Scinence and Medicine can improve patient's ability of defending disease by upholding the good and suppressing the bad , It is a important measure of regulating immunity. Traditional Chinese Medicine and West Medicine have different medical systems,They inqure into the pathogenic mechanism of the bronchial asthma from different points and use different ways to prevent and cure bronchial asthma,they can overcome ones own shortcomings by learning from the strong points of others and interosmosis.each can give full play to it's superiority.Clinical ingrated TCM&WM is a important way of improving clinical curative effect.Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Duanchuan Oral Liquild(DCOL) in preventing bronchial asthma at remission stage.Methods: Fourty patients were randomly divided into 2 groups, DCOL was given to the treated group,30ml each time,three times each day, consecutivly cure for five days,stop curing for tow days, 15 weeks is a course of treatment. If acute attack developed in the treated period, Coventional treatrment was given, both the treated group and the control group, the pulmonary function (FEV1.0,PEF),BHR ,Serum immunoglobulinE (IgE) , Peripheral eosinophil count (EOS) and acute attack times were observed.Results:The Curative effect of pulmonary function,EOS lovering, humeral immunity function improving ,BHR lowering and the acute attack times in the treated group were all better than those in the controll group (p<0.01&p<0.05). The Curative effect is siginficant in the treated group(p<0.01&p<0.05),but there are no obviously changes between the before and the after in the control group(p>0.05).Conclusions: DCOL was effective in preventing and curing asthma,it also shows pulmonary function improving and immunity regulating effects.
