| Objective: The article was to observe the effect of catgut implantation at acupoint on curing simple obesity and discuss the mechanism.Methods: 51 cases were divided into two groups randomly.30 cases were treated with catgut implantation at acupoint, while the 21eases, which was the control group, were treated with acupuncture. Two groups select the same points. Catgut implantation at acupoint was given once a week,4 treatments constituted of one course; acupuncture was given six a week,4 weeks constituted of one course, two courses were given.Results: The therapy decrease the bodyweight, circumference, the lever of serum leptin and blood-lipid. Two groups have the same therapeutic result.Conclusions: The good regulation of the therapy on level of blood-lipid and serum leptin is possibly the key in the anti-obesity. The method save time and stay action. |
