| Objectives: To evaluate the improvement of the clinical symptom of HLP by Tong Mai Hua Zhuo(TMHZ) decoction. Observe the influence of TMHZ decoction on serum TC TG LDL-C HDL-C of HLP patients.Methods: 60 cases of HLP were divided into two groups at random. One was the observing group which had 30 cases treated with TMHZ decoction, the other was the control group which had 30 cases treated with Zi Bi Tuo. Course of treatment was four week. Level of TC TG LDL-C HDL-C and Syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine were observed before and after treatment. Results: TMHZ decoction can markedly improve the clinical symptom of accumulation of phlegm-damp in the interior HLP, whose curative effect was superior to that of the control group. It can also lower serum TC TG LDL-C of HLP. It is superior to the control group in treatment of TG, it's total effective rate amount to 76.67%. No significant effects in promotion of HDL-C were seen in both groups.Conclusion: TMHZ decoction functions well in treatment of HLP. It's curative effect has reached or exceeded the Zi Bi Tuo. |
