| Objective To evaluate validity and reliability to change of the Occupational Stress Scale for Chinese Doctor (OSS-CD), and investigate the occupational stress status with OSS-CD.Methods 125 doctors were sampled from various kinds of hospitals, departments and education levels. The content validity, structure validity and rule correlation validity were used to evaluate the validity of the OSS-CD. The split-half reliability, retest reliability and internal consistency reliability were used to evaluate the reliability of the OSS-CD. Comparison of occupational stress status between doctors from different hospitals, educational background and departments were performed for 734 doctors. Results There was no occupational stress related different content in OSS-CD. The correlation coefficient between every indicator and occupational stress total score was up to the significance with better content validity (P<0.01). Through the method of factor analysis we got seven indicators that explained the total variance for 81.896%, which showed better structure validity. The correlation coefficient compared with OSI was 0.494 with better rule correlation validity (P<0.01). The correlation coefficient between every indicator and occupational total score was up to the significance, which compared before and after 10 days (P<0.05). The Kuppa >0.4. Both showed better retest reliability. The split-half reliability n, was 0.494, was no less than 0.485 of OSI. Cronbach α was 0.515, was no less than 0.422 of OSI.Every occupational stress indicator was plus correlated with occupational stress total score. Each difference of occupational stress score and total scoreamong different age, department and hospital was up to significant (P<0.05). Each difference of job task, Job hazard exposure and occupational stress total score among different sex was up to significance (P<0.05). The man doctor's was higher than woman doctor's. Each difference of job task, job time, job restrict, job hazard exposure, people relationship and occupational stress total score among different education background was up to significance (PO.05). The difference of job time among different marriage was up to significance (P<0.01). The difference of job task, job time, job restrict and job hazard exposure among different technical post was up to significance (P<0.05).Conclusion The OSS-CD had good validity and reliability to change and could be used to test occupational stress or become test standards for doctors in our nation. Our national doctors have higher occupational stress. The occupational stress status is different according to the difference of hospital, department, age, sex, education and marriage. The occupational stress status of doctors is valuable to be paid attention and cared by social. |
