It is a chinese traditional for tonifying the kidneythat has been used for over a thousand years. Modern chemistry found that thetotal flavone of HE(TFE) played a major role in Herba Epimdii and applied inmany diseases, especially in cardiovascular diseases. These effects includecoronary heart disease and hypertension. The documents report that TFE coulddecrease blood pressure on rabbit, cat and rat, and inhibit the contractility ofrabbit cardiac muscle, increase the coronary blood flow. Xinliguan observed theeffect of ET on blood vessel. The investigation found that the effects of ETcould relate with blockade of calcium channel.Nowadays, rapid development, quick living tempo and acute competitioncause that the intensity and quantity of stress on one's mind and spirit areobviously much more that before. We considered that the stimulation of stresswas the important reason to induce hypertension, and recent years theprevalence rate of hypertension appears obviously tendency. There are rarereports related to the effect of TFE on the forming of SIH. NO and ET is a pairof the relaxant and contracting factors that depend on the vascularendothelium .The balance of ET and NO is the most important premise of vesselto keep normal tension. The form, release and disbalance of ET and NO is veryimportant in the forming and developing of hypertension. There were somereports that the model of chronic stress-induced hypertensive rats was inducedby chronic foot-shock in adult male Wistar rats. But the levels of NO and NOSin serum are lower. Decreased NO in the vascular endothelium cells wasinvolved in chronic stress-induced hypertension (SIH). In this article, the effectof TFE on SIHR could reduce the blood pressure whether decreased ET andincreased NO, NOS.Methods and resultsThe study was conducted to observe the effects of TFE distilled by normaltemperature super-high pressure on the blood pressure of normal andstress-induced hypertensive rats. The total flavone of HE (TFE) distilled byroutine poaching or normal temperature super-high pressure was injected to theintraperitoneal rats. The results show that the effects of TFE distilled normaltemperature super-high pressure on the blood pressure of normal rats are moreevidence than that of TFE distilled by routine poaching. Electric foot-shockswere given to rats to induce SIH. Every day TFE distilled normal temperaturesuper-high pressure (10mg/kg, 30mg/kg ) was injected to the intraperitoneal ratsbefore electric foot-shocks .To investigate the effects of TFE on blood pressureof SIHR . Rats were randomly divided into three groups : (1)15-d+control,(2)15-d+ TFE 10mg/kg,(3) 15-d+TFE 30mg/kg.The results showed that increasedtail systolic pressure caused by the pretreatment of TFE was lower than that ofcontrol(p<0.01). TFE can affect the blood pressure of SIH through decreased ETand increased NO, NOS. To investigate that intraperitoneal and intracereb-roventricular injection of TFE can reduce the blood pressure on SIHR.DiscussionThese results indicate that TFE prevents the rise of blood pressure not onlyat the prehypertensive stage but also after the development of hypertension andthat this effect of TFE can decrease ET and increase NO, NOS in serum, andblock the calcium channel in order to adjust the blood vessel tension andperipheral resistance. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | TFE distilled normal temperature super-high pressure, stress-induced hypertension, ET, NO, NOS | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
