Clinical Observation Of PPH Curative Effect

Objective: To explore complication and indication of PPH (operation of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids).Methods: Collecting the patients by PPH and conventional operation for last 4 years in The Eighth Hospital of Wuhan City, observing them to compare curative effect.Results: PPH was better than conventional operation in hemorrhage and recurrence for internal hemorrhoids(P<0.05), but similar in paining and hospital time(P>0.05). In paining bleeding protecting anal function PPH was also better than conventional operation for circular mixed hemorrhoids(P<0.05), without recurrence following up 3 months-4 years.But 3% paiients' external hemorrhoids prolapsed which partly needed cutting for the nails falling off ahead of time. Furthermore PPH group had more anal dropping feeling than another group. PPH had only lenitive function for the rectocele patients.Conclusion: PPH has been applied to grades UK partial IV circular mixed hemorrhoids, with rectocele anal bump fresh anal fissure or mucosa prolapse,especial bleeding patients for internal hemorrhoids.
