Experimental Studies On Anti-tumor Function And Mechanism Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jiayijian In Vivo And In Vitro

Objective: The cancer of the liver has below characteristics : high occurrence rate, low surgical operation cuts off rate and poor prognosis. The Traditional Chinese medicine has accumulated abundant experience of the treatment of liver cancer. According to the Tradional Chinese medicine theories and practice of curing this kind of disease, we developed this compound prescription Jiayijian. It also reflects Wang Xugao's and Qin Bowei's experience of using Chinese herbal medicine. According to the clinical application, the curative effect was remarkable. The aim of our experiment was to study the anti-tumor function and mechanism of Jiayijian; to provide experiment data; to produce the scientific evidence for further guiding and extending the clinical application.Methods:1 Using the colorimetric method(MTT), we examined the suppressive effect of Jiayijian on the liver cancer cells line SMMC-7721.The tumor cells were cultured in variable working concentration from 1.5 to 50mg/ml. We investigated the suppressive effect using MTT assay at 72 hours.
