Objective:To study the protective effect of Sedum sarmentosum (CPC) on acute liverinjury in mice. Methods:acute liver injury models induced by D-galactosamine(D-GalN)/Lipopolysaccharid(LPS) in mice, and the levels of serum enzyme ALT, AST andTNF- α; the NF-KB activities and DNA damage in liver; the effects of survival onacute liver injury with pretreatment CPC were observed. Results:Pretreatment of mice with CPC(50 or 100mg·Kg-1 , intraperittoneal)significantly reduced the levels of serum enzyme ALT, ASTand TNF-α Activities, and significantly suppressed NF-KB activities and DNA damage on mice liver. On theother hand, CPC can increased the survival on mice acute liver injury. Conclusions: sedum sarmentosum thick juice has protecting effects for mice acuteliver injury induced by D-Galactosamine and lipopolysaccharide...
