Intervention Study Of Shengmai Injection To Cytokines Of Rats With Chronic Heart Failure

Background: Chronic heart failure (CHF) is the final clinical syndrome of all kinds of organic heart diseases. Its incidence rate and death rates are high and it seriously endangers the human health. Recent studies suggested that in addition to the abnormal activation of neurohormone, the activation of immunity which is indicated by cytokines increase also plays an important role in CHF. The theory of modern Chinese medicine thinks that CHF belongs to Deficient Syndrome. The basic mechanism of Deficient Syndrome is the disturbance of cytokines network. ShengMai Injection has been widely used in the therapy of CHF and shows good curative effect. But it is not clear that if it could improve the disturbance of cytokines network.Objective:(1) Discuss the feasibility of constructing the CHF rat model by abdominal aortic stenosis. (2) Observe the curative effect of ShengMai Injection to CHF rats and appraise the value of ShengMai Injection in treatment of CHF. (3) Measure the change of cytokines in CHF rats and verify the theory of immunity activation in CHF. (4) Inspect the interferential effect of ShengMai Injection to cytokines of CHF rats and uncover the effect of ShengMai Injection in treatment of CHF from standpoint of immunity.Methods: The rats were divided randomly into normal group, sham-operation group and model group, given respectively no surgical operation, sham-abdominal aortic stenosis operation and abdominal aortic stenosis operation.
