Study On Shengmai Injection In Patients With Chronic Heart Failure Of Type Qi And Yin Deficiency

ObjectivesTo observe TCM symptom and to compare the efficacy and safety of ShengMai injection in patients with chronic heart failure of Type Qi and Yin Deficiency.Methods100 patients of chronic heart failure of Type Qi and Yin Deficiency are randomly divided into two groups.50 cases in the controlled group are treated with routine western medicines, and 50 cases in the treatment group were treated with the above medicines, with additional ShenMai injection. Prohibit the use of Yiqiyangyin traditional Chinese medicine during the treatment. Use Chinese medicine symptom points, NHYA, blood BNP, LVEF as prognosis. Observe TCM symptoms before and after the treatment, in addition, compare the efficacy and safety.Results1. Two groups both improved fatigue, less gas lazy words, shortness of breath, five upset hot, dry mouth, afternoon fever, insomnia and more dreams, palpitations and dizziness(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The treatment group can also improve spontaneous perspiration, loss of appetite, night sweats and malar red(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The treatment group significantly improved fatigue, dry mouth, insomnia and more dreams more than the controlled group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).2. Compare with TCM symdrom scores:TCM symdrom scores of the treatment group and the controlled group both decreased after the treatment (P<0.05). Compared with the controlled group after the treatment, the scores of the treatment group decreased significantly(P<0.05).3. Compare with symptomatic efficacy:After the treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.0%, and it was 84.0% of the controlled group. Compared with the controlled group after treatment, the efficiency of the treatment group was significant(P<0.05).4. Compare with NYHA efficacy:After the treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.0%, and it was 80.0% of the controlled group. Compared with the controlled group after the treatment, the efficiency of the treatment group was significant(P<0.05).5. Compare with BNP:BNP of the treatment group and controlled group both decreased after the treatment (P<0.05). Compared with the controlled group after the treatment, the treatment group decreased significantly(P<0.05).6. Compare with LVEF:LVEF of the treatment group and controlled group both increased after the treatment (P<0.05). Compared with the controlled group after treatment, the treatment group didn't increased significantly(P>0.05).7. Compare BNP in NYHA:After the treatment, the BNP of NYHAâ…¡, NYHAâ…¢, NYHA IV in the treatment group and the controlled group, was significantly reduced(P <0.05 or P<0.01). But the BNP of NYHAâ…£in the treatment group was decreased significantly (P<0.05).8. There were no difference betweem the two groups in blood-routine, urine-routine, stool-routine, liver function, kidey function, heart enzymes and troponin after the treatment.Conclusions1. Treate patients of chronic heart failure of Type Qi and Yin Deficiency with routine Western medicines and ShenMai injection, can improve not only fatigue, less gas lazy words, shortness of breath, five upset hot, dry mouth, afternoon fever, insomnia and more dreams, palpitations and dizziness, but also spontaneous perspiration, loss of appetite, night sweats and zygomatic red. In addition, it impove Fatigue, dry mouth, insomnia and more dreams better than only routine Western medicines.2. Treating patients of chronic heart failure of Type Qi and Yin Deficiency with routine Western medicines and ShengMai injection are better than only routine Western medicines in improving symptoms, NYHA and blood BNP, but LVEF.3. Treatment with routine Western medicines and ShengMai injection For chronic heart failure NYHAâ…£is more effective than the treatment with only routine Western medicines.4. It is effective and safe to use Shengmai Injection in treating patients with chronic heart failure that Type Qi and Yin Deficiency.
