The Efficacy And Safety Of Targed-controlled Infusions Of Remifentanil And Propofol During Thoracic Surgery In The Elderly

Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of general intravenous anesthesia with target-controlled infusion(TCI) of different plasm remifentanil and propofol concentration for thoracic surgery in the elderly.Methods: Forty-five ASAⅠ～Ⅲpatients aged 65～75 yr and weighed 50⁷7 Kg undergoing thoracic surgery were randomly divided into three groups . The patients were premedicated with midazolam 0.05 mg·kg^-1 and artropine 0.5 mg·kg^-1 intramuscular 30 min before anesthesia.Perioperative monitoring included electrocardiogram and heartrate(HR),invasivel(artery) mean arterial blood pressure(MAP), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic arterial blood pressure(DBP), peripheral oxygen saturation(SpO₂), heart rate variablity(HRV), bispectral (BIS)index, and P_ETCO₂. Anesthesia was induced with remifentanil and propofol both given by TCI simultaneously.The target concentration of propofol was 3μg·ml^-1 and remifentanil were 4, 6, 8ng·ml^-1(group R4, R6, R8).
