Objective: Observing the Wenyangbushen decoction on regulating the metabolism of the free radical and elevating the anti-oxygen action of the aging model mice; Observing and contrasting the stress reaction of the mice in order to find out the anti-aging mechanism of action. Methods: Take the 50 mice of Kunming species, their weight is about 19±2g and separate them into 5 groups trabantly, each group is 10.From the first day of the experiment, we give 40 of them 5percent 0.5ml D-galactose each day , each mice and keep on 40 days in order to obtain subac. aging model. At the same time, lavage the NS. 0.4-0.5ml to the blank and the aging model mice; lavage the Chinese patent medicine 0.06g/(10g.d) to the Chinese patent medicine control group; lavage the Wenyangbushen suspl 0.5ml each day(it corresponds 10 times with the adult dosage, and using the 1% starch solution act as the suspending agent)to the Wenyangbushen mice, lavage the 1mg/ml VitE 0.5ml each day to the VitE group. We feed every group with the common forage 40 days. At the end of the experiment, we execute all the mice and strip their cerebrum immediately and then flush the cerebrum by using the icecold NS. Then we use the filter paper to blot it, After that weigh it by using the electronic balance, then homogenate, centrifuge, get the supernatant. Use the chromatometry to determine the MDA and MAO-B.(operate it according to the kit directions). Take another 60 mice of Kunming...
