Notoptetygium incisum Ting ex H.T. and Angelica pubescens Maxim. f.biserrata are commonly used traditional Chinese medicines included by the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. Coumarin and Oil are the main component. 13 Samples of Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort, Notopterygium incisum Ting ex H .T. and Angelica pubescens Maxim. f.biserrata were collected and the quality assessment was developed. Conditions for the extraction of Angelica pubescens. and Chuanxiong were studied by orthogonal experimental design.
