A Data Mining Experiment On The Clinical Law Of Chinese Herbs Compatibility In Blood Stasis Syndrome

Object: To reveal the clinical law of compatibility of Chinese herbs in blood stasissyndrome and help theoretical science or TCM physician.Method:1. The dissertation used the investigation of TCM literature,and adopted retrospectivestudy.2.We researced literature by computer. We collected 862 cases from the periodicals in10 years.3.Pretreatment data: we normally described the names of diseases, syndromes,prescriptions, and herbs.4.Computer processed data and established database.5.The methods of data processing included frequency analysis, frequent item set andanalysis of the association rule.Age and sex of patient was analyzed by frequency analysis;We used frequency to analyze diseases ,syndromes, prescriptions;Frequency analysis also was used to analyze herbs. we analyzed virtue, distributing,nature and taste, meridian distribution of herbs; then we used frequent item set andanalysis of the association rule to analyze herbs combination to discover a clinical lawof compatibility of the herbs.Result: we got 177 diseases,13 essential syndrome types ,121 prescriptions and 353Chinese herbs. We got nature and taste, meridian distribution of the herbs, frequentherbs and composition of the herbs.Conclusion:1.Physicians treated BSS mainly on the basis of integration of western medicine andTCM.The commonly diseases were concerned with geriatrics and gynecology.2.Diagnosis based on qi and blood were main in BSS. The qizhi stasis type and qixustasia type were essential syndrome types.3.TaoHongSiWu decoction could be regard as a basal formula to cureBSS.XueFuZhuYu decoction and BuYangHaiWu decoction could be representative ofdecoctions to cure qizhi stasis type and qixu stasis type.
