Objective and Background:Atherosclerosis is originated from the injury of the endothelial cells. When the barrier of endothelial cells of the blood vessells breaks down ,the mono-macrophage cells and lipids in the blood invaded into the subendothelial tissue. The atherosclerosis is formed, later the blood vessells remodeled ,then the atherosclerosis plaque is apt to break down,hemorrhage and thrombogenesis. Recently, there are lots of techniques to find out the vulnerable plaque, including the coronary angiography,intravascular unltrasound,intravascular unltrasound elastography,pH in plaque measurement et al, these techniques are expensive and complicated, so hard to spread generally. Matrix metalloproteinases weaken the barrier of the endothelial cells of the blood vessells, then the smooth cells in the intercellular layer immigration and proliferation, worsen the structrue of the vessels. The atherosclerosis is generated from the inflammatory cells of the circulation. Meanwhile the oxidized low density lipoprotein invaded the intim, bind the scavenger receptors of the macrophages. Finally the foam cell is generated ,which is the most important cell in the atherosclerosis. oxidized low density lipoprotein also stimulate the matrix metalloproteinases and inflammatory factors synthesis and release, induce monocyte adhere the endothelial cells and inflammation factors infiltration , worsen the vasoconstriction ,platelet adhesion reaction. oxidized low density lipoprotein and antibody is elevated before the plaque break down,they are closely related to the vulnerablity, they can be themarker of the vulnerablity.Matrix matelloproteinases is stimulated in the vascular remodelling hemodynamics injury inflammation and oxidative stress.The fibrous cap is the guard of the atherosclerosis, there sioverexpression and matrix degradation in situ in focal fragile shoulder of the atherosclerosis.some experiment showed the serumal matrix metalloproteinase-2 elevated in the acute coronary syndrome, matrix metalloproteinase-2 can be the danger marker.To illustrate the matrix metalloproteinase-2 and oxidized low density lipoprotein antibody is the effective method to prejudge the stability of the plaque.Methods: March to August of 2006,the male patients in the cardiovasuclar medicine department of the second hospital of Jilin University.There are 76 people involved.To test the matrix metalloproteinase-2 in geletin zymography,and to test the antibody of oxidized low density lipoprotein in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The antibody of oxidized low density lipoprotein in the stable angina group and acute coronary syndrome group compare to the normal group has the significant difference. no significant difference in the stable angina group and acute coronary syndrome. matrix metalloproteinase-2 has the significant difference in the normal group stable angina group and the acute coronary syndrome.Conclusions: The antibody of oxidized low density lipoprotein is higher in the male stable angina group and acute coronary syndrome,has the significant difference to the normal group.The matrix metalloproteinase-2 is higher in the acute coronary syndrome.The combination of antibody of oxidized low density lipoprotein and matrix metalloproteinase-2 will be the good way to reflect the plaque stablity.The antibody of oxidized low density lipoprotein elevated in the vulnerable plaque, which may be related to the the thin cap with large lipid core,dysfunction of endothelial tissue and active inflammation.When the plaque ruptured, oxidized low density lipoprotein entered the blood,provoking the exsiting foam cells macrophage lymphocytes which is related to the oxidative stress.The more macrophage invaded into the fibrous cap ,the more matrix metalloproteinase secreted by the macrophage.The matrix is degraded by the matrix metalloproteinase, then the smooth muscle cell immigration and vascular reconstruction.The atherosclerosis is woresen. Lyphocyte B has the circulating feature ,when the barrier of atherosclerosis plaque is broken down and the new vessels formatted ,the antibody of oxidized low density lipoprotein showed ,to test the antibody has the clinical meaning.
