A Clinical Study Of The Way Of Benefiting Vital Energy For Strengthening Superficies To Improve Immune Functions Of Patients With CVA During Remission Stage

Objective: to determine the way of benefiting vital energy for strengthening superficies (yu-ping-feng) to improve immune functions of patients with cough variance asthma during remission stage, in order to treat and improve CVA effectively.Method: The 40 patients diagnosedwith CVA in remission stage, using the PEMS3.1 software package, were divided randomly into two groups: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group in which 20 cases were treated by "yu-ping-feng", one sack(IOg) every time and three times a day; The control group in which 20 cases were treated by placebo ,which was consist of malt ,millet sprout and starch, one sack(10g) every time and three times a day, being treated for 4 months together, and the two groups couldn't eat any medicine when they were being treated, before and after the treatment calculate the level of the immune globulin IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE and T cell CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+。the difference between the groups were compared.Results: However, a patient in the treatment group went to homeland 46 days later when he took the drugs, so the treatment group exclude this patient; the control group is all right. In the end there are 19 patients in the treatment group and 20 patients in the control group, In the treatment group: the level of IgA, CD8+ before and after the treatment were increased obviously (p＜0.01), while the level of IgE, CD4+/CD8+ were decreased markedly (p＜0.01). the level of IgG, IgM, CD4+ were no significance (p＞0.05);in the control group ,the difference before and after the treatment were no significance (p＞0.05). During the course of treatment, there is no adverse reaction, as drug allergy,patient' s condition deteriorate and so on.Conclusion: In concept of organic wholeness, we use the way of benefiting vital energy for strengthening superficies (yu-ping-feng) to treat the patients with cough variance asthma during remission stage. The TCM play a major part in regulate the whole function of the patient' s body. It not only cures the patient, it also improves the whole body' s immunity. It is well-known for its advantages which the western medicine couldn't substitute forever.
