Treatment Of Obesity Hypertension Clinical Research And The Effect On Leptin Resistance By Traditional Chinese Medicine Which Activating Blood And Expelling Phlegm

Background:Essential hypertension is systemic arterial pressure increased as the main performance of the clinical syndrome,and long-term high blood pressure can affect important organs especially heart,brain,kidney function, leading to organ failure.At home and abroad agreed that overweight,high-salt diet and moderate alcohol consumption is the incidence of hypertension of the three major risk factors.And overweight and obesity has become a worldwide concern of most of the important cardiovascular disease risk factors,obesity so that the risk of suffering from hypertension increased 2-6 times.Leptin is a kind of hormones produced by fat cells,in the role of the hypothalamus, plays a role of suppressing appetite and promoting energy metabolism to reduce the fat and weight.However,in obese patients with hypertension are often among the high leptin levels,leptin resistance.problem has caused more and more attention and therefore strengthen the obesity prevention and treatment of high blood pressure medicine in the clinical study is necessary.Objective:Select the southeastern region of obese patients with hypertension, with the conventional treatment and Traditional Chinese Medicine which activating blood and expelling phlegm on the basis of the prescription treatment,observating the correlation between leptin and obesity.Through statistical analysis,to observe the effect of this method on improving the blood pressure,obesity buck and the leptin resistance in patients of obesity hypertension.Methods:65 patients with obesity hypertension were recruited from Section 1 of Guangzhou city Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine.In accordance with 1999 WHO diagnostic standard of hypertension and 2000 Asia adult obesity diagnostic standard which brought forward by international obesity workgroup. Every patient knew treatment projects and check items well and the consented. Randomly they were divided into control group and Chinese herbal medicine group.The control group take more unified conventional treatment,and the Chinese herbal medicine group use Chinese medicine which activating blood and expelling phlegm on the basis of conventional treatment.Treatment for three weeks.Comparing the two groups of patients before and after treatment of serum leptin,blood pressure,weight,height,waist circumference,body mass index, blood glucose,blood lipids and improve the assessment of the clinical symptoms,to observe the impact on the leptin resistance in patients of obesity hypertension.Results:According to the diagnostic criteria,sixty patients with obesity hypertension were recruited.Two groups of patients before and after treatment of leptin levels did not change significantly(P＞0.05),while blood pressure, body mass index,blood glucose,blood lipids have significantly improved(P＜0.05),little difference between the two groups.The two groups can significantly improve the clinical symptoms,but more significantly improved the treatment group,and rare side effects,patients can be well tolerated Chinese medicine.Conclusion:The treatment of leptin resistance in patients with obesity hypertension by Traditional Chineses Medicine which activating blood and expelling phlegm is very small,but the buck in the diet is effective,to achieve a satisfactory clinical efficacy.Therefore,promoting blood circulation Chinese medicine in the treatment of obesity and high blood pressure can enhance the efficacy and reduce adverse reactions.We can follow the principle of individual,flexibility indications to further explore Chinese medicine for obesity prevention and treatment of hypertension.
