This paper select Dendrobinm chryseum Rolfe as the object of research.The preliminary tests of the chemical components showed that it contains saccharides, alkaloids, tannins, phenols, coumarins, cardiac glycoside, steroids, terpenes, etc.The research took the advancing movements of small intestine in mice to study the pharmacological effect of the different solvent-extracts of Dendrobinm chryseum Rolfe. The result showed that the Ethylacetate parts of Dendrobiium chryseum Rolfe can advance the mouse movements of small intestine, it is the effective parts on advancing movements of small intestine.The study successfully separated 5 compounds from the Ethylacetate parts by means of silical gel column chromatograghy. They were identified as coumarin,β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, defuscin, daucosterol.The study of the quality standards were taken on four breed (Dendrobinm chryseum Rolfe, Dendrobinm loddigesii Rolfe, Dendrobinm moniliforme(L.) Sw. Dendrobinm fimbriatum Hook. var oculatum Hook), including the Identification(The coumarin was qualitatively indentified by TLC), Analysis(the limits of moisture, extracturn, heavy metal, arsenic salt, harmful elements, pesticide residue), Content Assays(By the research of chromatographic condition, systematic adaptability test, preparation of control solution, preparation of sampler solution and analysis method, HPLC was used to assay the contents of coumarin). This paper based the drafted quality standards of dried Dendrobinm chryseum Rolfe.The studies results provided a scientific basement to reveal the bioactive substance for advancing movements of small intestine, establish the quality evaluation method, prevail the clinical application of Herba Dendrobil and increase breed of Herba Dendrobil.
