The Relative Research Of Nursing Students' Time Management

ObjectiveThe purpose of the research is through Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale(ATMD) to confirm the students'present time management level.And develop a Questionnaire to find the relative effcct factors of time management disposition.MethodsBased on the ATMD,reviewing related litcratures and consulting experts developed a Nursing Students' leisuring time management Questionnaire including 14 items,3 dimensions according to similar qualities:Studying time;.relaxing time;working time for time management.352nuring students who were in China Medical University,The Affiliated Nursing School of China Medical University were rated by the researcher based on the rating scale developcd and ATMD in this study. All quantitative data of the questionnaire survey was analyzed by SPSS13.0.The statistical analysis methods included the internal consistency,the test-retest reliability, correlation analysis and factor analysis,et al.Resultsa) The present level of time management disposition:Through the analysis of 3dimensions of the ATMD for 3 levels nursing students,we can find the general scores of nursing sudents were relatively high, especially,the more advanced educated ones.b) The relative effect factors about ATMD:Using the measure scales to test,Finally there are three factors entering multiple linear regression,they are educational level;self-studying time;surfing Internet time.they all have significant difference in the same three dimensions,while not finding significant difference in the same one dimension.c) Reliability of the Students'Leisure Time Management QuestionnaireThe Questionnaire had relatively satisfying reliability.for the overall questionnaire Cronbach's a coefficient was 0.71,the Cronbach's a coefficient of the 3dimensions was 0.58～0.74.d) Validity of the Students'Leisure Time Management questionnaire.The correlation analysis indicated that the structure of the questionnaire was excellent.The method of principle components was used for factor analysis,6 factors were extracted on the standard that eigenvalues is over 1.The total cumulative rate is 75.95%indicating that the structure of the scale was matching with the theoretical constructions.ConclusionsThe nursing students of CMU have relatively high scores.in the ATMD.and there is a tendency that with more advanced educated level,there is a higher score level of ATMD.ATMD also have relative coefficient with education;self-studying time; surfing Internet frequency.
