Objective: In patients with acute ischemic stroke study, progress to explore risk factors of progressing stroke and to analyze the relationship between different levels of sero-homocysteine and progressing stroke, so as to progress and provide the basis for the prevention of progressing stroke. Methods: Collect the 138pou newly ischemic cerebral stroke patients'clinical information(48 hours from onset) from the neurology department of People Hospital of Liaoning Province on admission, including age, sex, smoking and drinking history, history of hypertension and diabetes, medication history, blood pressure, body temperature, blood test indicators: WBC,hemoglobin, platelets, fibrinogen, blood lipids and sero-homocysteine, carotid artery ultrasound, CT/MRI,etc.The selected stroke patients will be divided into progressing stroke group and non-progressing stroke group, high homocysteine stroke group and non-high homocysteine stroke group, deal datas with statistical methods .Results:1,The progressing stroke in ischemic stroke accounted for 28.3% of the ratio;2,Compared to the basilar artery system infarction, carotid system infarction see more progress, progressing stroke has been found in the stroke occurred within 24h after onset commonly;3,Large infarction, smoking, alcohol, hypertension, diabetes, diabetes with hypertension, elevated sero-homocysteine,leukocytosis,elevated systolic blood pressure are related with progressing stroke, the level of sero-homocysteine≥30mmol / L is closely related with the progressing stroke;4,In stroke patients, race, sex, folic acid and vitamin B12 are related with the level of sero-homocysteine; Conclusion: The incidence of progressing stroke is higher, early progressing stroke is found commonly. A variety of factors combined with a variety of pathophysiological mechanisms effect progressing stroke. Hypertension, diabetes and the level of sero-homocysteine≥30mmol / L are important factors of progressing stroke.
