Clinical Observation Of Conservative Treatment On Chronic Periapical Peridontitis

Objective:To observe the short-term clinical effects of conservative treatment on chronic periapical peridontitis and the occurrence of endo-dontic interappointment emergency.Methods:10 cases of periapical peridontitis were treated by root canal therapy. Combine with preparing root canal more than 1mm, overfilling of root canal and decompression of cyst cavity for periapical granuloma and periapical cyst cases. At the first visit, whether it needed drainage, it was determined by their symptom for chronic periapical abscess and periapical granuloma cases. All the cases of periapical cyst needed drainage for the first time. Use reducing occlusion and antibiotic for all the cases.1～12 months later, reexamine all the cases, observe their clinical effects and the occurrence of endodontic interappointment emergency.Results:Of 10 cases, no case had endodontic interappointment emer-gency,10 cases were successful (7 cases were improved,3 cases were cured) and no case was failed.
