Clinical Study On Treating The Rapid Arrhythmia Of Qi And Yin Deficiency Type With Traditional Chinese Medicine And Acupuncture Treatment

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Pingxindingjitang and acupuncture with the function of enriching qi nourishing yin calming the heart and mind treating the rapid arrhythmia of qi and yin deficiency type.Method:Dividing the 60 patients into two groups stochastically (western medicine group 30 and TCM group 30) applying drugs separately eight weeks are an observation treating course. Western medicine group Use propafenone 150mg q8h; TCM group Applies the Pingxindingjitang(The prescription shengdi30g xuanshenl5g maidong30g dangshen30g wuweizil2g danshen30g huangqi 30g chuanhuanglianl5g kushenl5g gansong30g guizhi9g zhigancao9g. boiled with water one day one dose) and supplemented by acupuncturing the "lingtai" and "shendao"points to treat qi and yin deficiency type. Observing TCM symptom tongue and pulse changes.Result:In the total curative effect the Western medicine group obviously the efficiency is 33.33% the total effectiveness is 80.00%; The TCM group respectively is 36.67% and 83.33%. The two group has non-statistics differences (p>0.05). The TCM group has obviously differences on the 5 group of symptom palpitation chest distress dizziness weakness and insomnia after the treatment(p<0.01). After the treatment the western medicine group appears no obviously differences on the 3 groups of ymptoms chest distress weakness and insomnia(p>0.05) but has the significance difference on palpitation and dizziness (p<0.01). The TCM & acupuncture group total effectiveness for serious patients is 62.50%. It is difference with the Western medicine groups(p<0.05).Conclusion:The traditional Chinese medicine(Pingxindingjitang) treating rapid arrhythmia total curative effect the TCM symptoms improved obviously but has no remarkable difference with the Western medicine group. After the treatment The number of Ex and non supraventricular tachycardia is reduced obviously. When treating rapid arrhythmia the effect of the light and middle one was better than the heavy one. And the efficacy of TCM & acupuncture is better than the Western medicine for serious patients.
