| Objective:Obsering the reflect of eliminating pathogenic heat by nourishing yin treatment to the acute radiotherapy of the buccal mucosa of the yin asthenia and excess toxin and heat nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients. Conclusions:The admove of eliminating pathogenic heat by nourishing yin to treat the acute radiotherapy reaction of the buccal mucosa of the yin asthenia and excess toxin and heat nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients which can retard the reaction and mitigate the reaction extent of the buccal mucosa.Method: Thirty-two patients, which are clarified into treatment group (TG) and control group (CG), are carried out by normal Radiation and the pattern of syndrome of yin asthenia and excess toxin and heat nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients. Treating the CG by western medicine, and then the TG was treated by eliminate pathogenic heat by nourishing yin which based on the CG treatment. Observing the lasting time and dosage of radiotherapy of the buccal mucosa of the two groups which were cured by radiation, recording the reaction degree and the damage degree of the salivary glands of the buccal mucosa of the two groups after the treatment of DT10Gy,30Gy, 50Gy and the termination of radiation and comparing the total radiate treatment time and the Tradition Chinese Medical (TCM) syndromes, body weight and Karnofsky variance. Results:Firstly, A significant difference (P<0.05) lies in the reaction time of the buccal mucosa and the dosage of radiotherapy by comparing the two groups. Secondly, A significant difference (P<0.05) lies in the total treatment time of the whole radiotherapy. Thirdly, After the DT 10Gy,30Gy,50Gy and the termination of radiotherapy, the reaction cases and degree of the buccal mucosa are of great difference (P<0.05). Fourthly, After the DT 10Gy,30Gy,50Gy and the termination of radiation, the damage cases and reaction degree of the buccal mucosa are of great difference (P<0.05). Fifthly, the comparison traditional Chinese medicine syndromes are of great difference before and after the cure. Lastly, no statistic difference lies before and after the cure and the Karnofsky variance. Conclusions:The admove of eliminating pathogenic heat by nourishing yin to treat the acute radiotherapy reaction of the buccal mucosa of the yin asthenia and excess toxin and heat nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients which can retard the reaction and mitigate the reaction extent of buccal mucosa. |
