Object: Detecting the plasma levels of neurotensin and motilin with infant primary intussusceptions when disease and after air enema reattachment using the method of radioimmunoassay to compare the level changes between acute phase of the disease and after theatment, then, discuss on the relationship between the two gastrointestinal hormones and infant primary intussusception to provide a theoretical foundation for explaining the role of disorder in gastrointestinal hormones in the pathogenesis of infant primary intussusception .Methods: 24 samples of the testing group were collected from the infant primary intussusception patients in pediatric surgery of Cangzhou Central Hospital affiliated to Hebei Medical University. 20 samples of control group were collected from the non-intestinal disorders cases of infants . All samples were taken fasting blood about 3 milliliters , and they were placed tubules with 30μl 10% the EDTA-K2 and 40μl aprotinin, then plasma was separated from blood by centrifugal effect and conserved in -80℃icebox. Both motilion and neurotensin were detected by radioimmunoassay. The test data were analyzed with SPSS 13.0 software. Results: In the testing group, the plasma level of motilin on the onset is higher than 15 days after air enema reattachment. And the change of serum motilin is statistically significant by self-paired t test. The difference of motilin plasma level between on the onset and control group is statistically significant. The difference of motilin plasma level between 15 days after air enema reattachment and control group is no statistically significant. (Statistical data…) In the testing group, the plasma level of neurotensin on the onset is higher than 15 days after air enema reattachment. And the change of serum NT is statistically significant by self-paired t test. The difference of neurotensin plasma level between on the onset and control group is statistically significant. The difference of neurotensin plasma level between 15 days after air enema reattachment and control group is no statistically significant. (Statistical data…) In the control group, both of the results of neurotensin and motilion are no statistically significant by comparison in different ages and sexuality. (Statistical data…)Conclusion: The plasma levels of motilin and neurotensin on the onset of primary intussusception in infants are significantly higher than before the onset. And it declines rapidly after air enema reattachment . While 15 days after air enema reattachment, it is near normal levels. Neurotensin and motilin is important gastrointestinal hormone in the pathogenesis of primary intussusception, and they are the gastrointestinal endocrine factors for the incidence of infant primary intussusception .
