The Composition And Performance Of The Ensemble Of Dulcimer

Music composition is the key to the development of dulcimer music. As a result of the continuous development of music composition and the reform of instruments in recent years, dulcimer performance has been transformed as its players and composers have aimed to make it more diverse. Dulcimer is a wide ranging instrument, stemming from many global ethnic groups. Due to the recent cultural and artistic trade within the international community, cultures have exchanged many techniques in the hopes of improving global communication. These improvements are most notable in the field of dulcimer ensemble music, highlighting the advantage of ensemble collaboration. Following the rapid growth in composition and technique, dulcimer players have been offered the opportunity to express themselves in a variety of ways, allowing them to distinguish themselves from other players.This paper has been segmented into three parts;First, the use of compositional techniques in dulcimer ensemble woks; Second, the use of playing techniques in dulcimer ensemble works;Third, the use of dampers in dulcimer ensemble pieces.
